Innovative Builders & Equipment was founded in 1997, focusing on designing specialty environments
and products for Universal Design - providing beauty, accessibility and barrier-free living. We have
a team of fabricators that design and produce a variety of products every day as well as a highly skilled
construction team who can bring it all together. It often requires outside-the-box thinking with a lot of
modifying, twisting and bending to fulfill the customers every need.
Today, we bring this same custom mindset and instinctive aptitude to every job as part of our expanded
Design-Build services. From remodeling a bathroom to building a new addition, we offer a creative design flair and expert workmanship. Our Company
The owner, Mark Dietz, started at a young age in construction. Working along side his family members who were union contractors, Mark began learning the trades as early as age 6. Over the next couple of decades Mark decided to go a different direction and go to college for Occupational Therapy. Once graduated, he began working with a variety of patient's and finding their needs for safe access at home was not always being met. Many colleagues began approaching Mark about home modifications and specialty equipment requirements knowing his extensive construction background, this eventually led him to get back into the building trades and combine his knowledge of construction with the knowledge of disabilities, patient safety and universal design.
Today, Mark still actively works in the Occupational Therapy field on a PRN basis as well as managing Innovative Builders & Equipment. Over the years of working in the Occupational Therapy field Mark has specialized in adapting a person's environment to meet their specific needs. And that is the same principle that guides his construction company now.
With a supporting staff of dedicated professionals, Innovative Builders & Equipment takes great pride that all it's
work is done by in-house employees, not subcontractors. Our staff is dedicated and has a long history with our
company, many for over 10 years. Each and every one makes our customers feel as if they are family.
