UNIVERSAL DESIGN
The concept of Universal Design is making a persons environment functional and comfortable to accommadate their specific needs. Whether a person is able bodied, elderly or have some form of disability, Universal Design gives everyone a comfortable and safe way to live. As all of us get older we would like nothing more than to stay in our own homes and "Age In Place" being able to keep our lives and surroundings as normal as possible. Our design team at Innovative Builders has extensive training in Universal Design and performs consultations with the State on a regular basis for a variety of projects.
Instead of dividing tasks between architecture and construction companies, as a Design-Build firm we oversee the project under one entity, providing a unified flow of work from initial concept through completion.
We meet with homeowners to get their ideas and then refine them, and often provide the inspiration, to create stunning home remodels that are as practical as they are beautiful.
Along the process, we help educate homeowners on different materials and building options, so together we work toward the same goals.
